Timmy and Jane had their third child, a boy! Joshua Timothy Lawson. Their oldest daughter, Brynne, was becoming a lovely young woman. She was a pretty combination of her grandmother, Evelyn, with striking features. At the same time, she had her mother's soft and gentle face. Sophie was fashionably pretty and had the familiar brilliant red hair, but the petite face of her mother, cute, pointy nose and all.

On the McGreggor farm, Leod and Lydia had two more children, both girls- Alba and Elizabeth. The oldest, Gwendolyn and second oldest, Alba were pictures of their father, but still very feminine. Elizabeth only inherited her father's brown hair. Other than that, she was an image of her mother and grandmother.
