Richard was so much fun, and he was very wealthy and fashionable. Brynne loved the idea of becoming a classy socialite, being paraded around the most fashionable parties on his arm.
And he found her to be a beautiful trophy-wife. They were married very soon, and Richard built Brynne a large, Victorian home, so large that they didn't even use the upstairs until their son was born.

During this time, Timmy's widowed wife Jane and Edward (Timmy's brother) had formed a strong friendship, after their spouses passed away. Although some members of society considered it quite scandalous, they married each other and planned to spend the rest of their lives together. They were very content with each other's companionship.
