The three oldest fourth-generation Lawsons were now adults:

Quinn (son of Brynne, grandson of Timmy) married Laci and had a son, Samuel.
Eve (daughter of Isabella, granddaughter of Edward) married Jason.
Elise (daughter of Gwendolyn, granddaughter of Lydia) moved out.
When Elise was ready to move out of the house, Elizabeth requested that she come and stay with her on the farm. With three boys and a farm to run, Patrick's and Elizabeth's hands were full. Elise gladly accepted her offer. Elizabeth paid her a small allowance for her services, so she could save money to buy a house of her own someday.
At first, the boys were rowdy with Elise. The twins, Eric and Liam, were always getting into trouble, and baby Hamilton held so much of her attention, it was twice as hard to know what Eric and Liam were up to.
But Elise was clever and a hardworker. She soon got them into a routine. Patrick and Elizabeth were thrilled to dedicate some more time to the farm.
